UNIT #9 - MIDDLE AGES, RENAISSANCE & REFORMATION
The Middle Ages, Renaissance & Reformation unit introduces students to the political, economic and social factors that brought about the beginning of the Middle Ages and ways that these factors also contributed to the end of the Middle Ages. Students will also study how the movement of people, goods and ideas helped introduce new innovations that led to the Renaissance and Reformation.

How did feudalism and the manorial system impact life in the Middle Ages?
How was the Middle Ages affected by the movement of people, goods and ideas that occurred as a result of events such as the Crusades and the Black Death?
What role did innovations and technology play in bringing about the end of the Middle Ages and the beginnings of the Renaissance and Reformation?
What role did historical figures and cultural groups play in the events that occurred during the Renaissance and Reformation?
